POSITION DESCRIPTION: Account Manager
LOCATION: We prefer someone in the northeast US (PA, NJ, DC area), or someone willing to travel frequently from our Atlanta, GA corporate location.
SUMMARY AND EXPERIENCE: MDL is currently hiring an individual with the skills and experience to rapidly implement our solutions at automotive dealerships. This individual will deploy our solutions quickly in high-activity environments, then train client personnel on how to use and maximize benefits from them. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, be well organized, and possess the interpersonal skills to provide high levels of customer training and satisfaction. Travel requirements can be extremely high as most work is on-site with the client. An Account Manager’s main responsibilities are to install and activate MDL solutions at customer sites, troubleshoot solutions, train dealership personnel, and provide resolution to their concerns.
The appropriate blend of education, professional and consulting experience is required. A bachelor’s degree in a technology field is preferred, but candidates with 3+ years of client-facing automotive experience and the required technical skills will be considered. Knowledge of automotive dealer operations is a plus. Must be highly organized and self-motivated. Able to follow detailed methodologies and work independently are critical to success in this position.
The more technology installation and training experience you have, the better, but what really counts is a willingness to learn, be coached, and contribute.
